Data We Collect

This website collects data in two ways: automatically through server infrastructure and analytics tools, and voluntarily through any contact form or email you initiate. We do not require account registration to read content on this site.

Automatically collected data

• Server logs — your IP address, the URL you requested, the date and time of the request, your browser's user-agent string, and the HTTP status code returned. These logs are standard infrastructure records kept by web hosting providers.
• Analytics data — page views, session duration, scroll depth, referral source, and country of visit. This data is collected via a third-party analytics tool (see the Third-Party Tools section below). It is associated with a pseudonymous session identifier, not your name.
• Outbound click tracking — when you click a tracked affiliate link to a casino, a click event is logged. This log includes a timestamp, the destination URL, and a session identifier. It does not include your name, email address, or payment details — those are collected by the casino you visit, under their own privacy policy.
• Cookie identifiers — first-party and third-party cookies are set on your device as described in the Cookies section below.

Voluntarily provided data

• Contact enquiries — if you email us or use a contact form, we collect your email address and the content of your message. This data is used only to respond to your enquiry.
• Correction submissions — if you submit a factual correction about a review, we collect your contact details and the information you provide. Verified corrections are published with a note; your contact details are not published.

How We Use Your Data

We use the data described above for the following purposes:

• Site operation and security — server logs allow us to identify and block abusive traffic, diagnose errors, and monitor uptime.
• Content improvement — aggregated analytics data (which pages are read, how long, from which countries) guides editorial decisions about which content to expand or update.
• Affiliate attribution — outbound click tracking allows us to report to casino affiliate programs how many visitors we referred. This is how the site is funded. The data reported to affiliate programs is aggregated click counts, not individual visitor records.
• Responding to enquiries — contact form data is used solely to reply to the person who submitted it.

We do not use your data for behavioural advertising, we do not sell personal data to third parties, and we do not build individual profiles for marketing purposes.

You can delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Disabling analytics cookies does not affect your ability to read content on this site. Disabling affiliate tracking cookies means that if you register at a casino after clicking a link from this site, we will not receive attribution credit — this has no effect on your casino experience.

How Long We Keep Data

• Server logs — retained for 90 days, then automatically purged by the hosting provider.
• Analytics data — retained for 26 months in aggregated form, then deleted.
• Affiliate click logs — retained for 24 months to support commission dispute resolution, then deleted.
• Contact correspondence — retained for 12 months after the last message in a thread, then deleted unless the correspondence relates to a legal matter.

We do not have a statutory Data Protection Officer requirement under Australian law, but all privacy correspondence is handled by the site editor and responded to within 30 days.

The "last updated" date at the foot of this page reflects the most recent revision.
